Export templates are simple text files that contains special variables as well as the formatted text. Use these variables to tell Feed Editor where to insert data.

Besides variables, special commands in templates.
%BeginItemsRecord% and %EndItemsRecord% mark the beginning of the part of the template, common for all items of your RSS feed.
$NAME – template name, for example “HTML template” $FILEEXT – extension of the output file that data is exported to, for example “.htm” $DATEFORMAT – data output format, for example “dd/mm/yyyy” $NOCRLF – variable that can be set to 0 (disabled) or 1 (enabled). It determines whether Feed Editor will delete the carriage return and line feed characters (use when exporting to the CSV format). |
